Concrete Driveways in Brooklyn and Queens
Momentum Builders Group builds and replaces concrete driveways for homes in Brooklyn and Queens. We break out the old slab, prepare a solid base, and pour a driveway built for New York winters. We serve Canarsie, Jamaica, Forest Hills and nearby neighborhoods, and we’re licensed by NYC DCWP (#2118905), NYC-certified MWBE, and fully insured. Call or text (646) 995-0732 for a free estimate, or send photos and we’ll tell you whether your driveway needs a repair or a replacement.

What's included
- New concrete driveways. Excavation, a compacted stone base, forms, reinforcement and a finished pour.
- Full driveway replacement. We break out and haul away the old slab, fix the base, and pour new concrete.
- Crack and section repair. When only part of the driveway has failed, we cut out and replace just those sections.
- Stamped and colored concrete. Patterns and colors that look like stone, slate or brick, with the strength of concrete.
- Driveway aprons. The section where your driveway meets the street.
- Concrete walkways from the driveway or sidewalk to your front steps.

Signs your concrete driveway needs work
- Wide or growing cracks, especially ones you can fit a coin into
- Sunken or lifted slabs that create a lip between sections
- Crumbling, flaking surface (spalling), often from salt and freeze and thaw
- Water pooling on the driveway or running toward the house
- Trip hazards at the joints, the garage or the sidewalk
One cracked section can usually be replaced on its own. When cracks run across most of the slab, or it has sunk because the base washed out, a full replacement usually lasts longer and costs less over time.

How we do it
- Free estimate. Call, text or send photos. We measure the driveway, check the base, the drainage and the slope, and look at how it meets the sidewalk and garage.
- Written price with options. You get a written estimate. When it makes sense, we give options such as section repair versus full replacement, or plain broom finish versus stamped.
- Demo, base and pour. We break out and remove the old concrete, grade and compact the base, set forms and reinforcement, then pour and finish with control joints that help keep cracks in straight lines.
- Curing and walkthrough. We clean up, walk the job with you, and tell you when you can walk on it, park on it and seal it.

What affects the price
- Size and thickness of the driveway
- Removal and disposal of the old slab
- Base repair where the ground has washed out or settled
- Finish: plain broom finish costs less than stamped or colored concrete
- Access for the concrete truck and equipment
Every driveway is different, so we give you a written price after a free on-site look.

Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to replace a concrete driveway?
Most driveway replacements take about 3 to 5 days of work, from breaking out the old slab to the final pour, plus curing time before you can park on it. Larger or stamped driveways take longer.
When can I park on new concrete?
You can usually walk on it after a day or two, but wait about 7 days before parking a car on it. Concrete keeps getting stronger for about a month, so keep heavy trucks off it during that time.
Is stamped concrete a good choice for a driveway?
Yes, if it’s installed and sealed properly. Stamped concrete gives you the look of stone or brick at a lower cost. It should be resealed every few years to protect the color and the surface from salt and weather.
How long does a concrete driveway last?
A well-built concrete driveway often lasts 25 years or more. The base, the thickness, the control joints and how much salt it sees in winter all affect how long it lasts.
Can you fix my driveway without replacing all of it?
Often, yes. If the damage is limited to one or two sections, we can cut out and replace just those slabs. New concrete won’t be a perfect color match at first, but it blends in over time. If most of the slab is cracked or sunken, a full replacement is usually the better investment.
